After I helped my sister, who was about to begin chemotherapy, choose a wig, store clerks made it clear that the wigs are not returnable or exchangeable. However, the $150.00 package of products that my sister purchased was not mentioned in that policy. After my sister decided she did not need the expensive shampoo, conditioner, etc., I went to the shop to return the unopened package for a refund. Shop personnel told me that all products are included in the no-returns policy.

I will not recommend this shop to others. Besides the need for a clearer statement about store policy, the shop workers should point out other resources in the community, including Stewarts Caring Place which is just around the corner. I understand how that cuts into store profits, but considering the vulnerability of cancer patients, Wigs & Things should search its corporate soul for a more empathetic policy.

Felt like I was a burden being here. One employee who was talking to me couldn't even stand up. God forbid you don't just sit like you're in your living room not wanting to help. Will never return.
